The video might be best for at least the beginning if your'e curious about applying a CGM, and removing the mystery around it. Also, Dr. B stumbles on her words (human!), and she meant to say, it stays on for 2 WEEKS, not 2 days.ย
Burg finally decided to wear a CGM (continuous glucose monitor) and so she puts it on her arm for the first time in this episode! Nothing to be afraid of! No pain! (I know because this is Burg writing this).
Using cash/credit/HSA/FSA, rather than insurance, can be quite affordable these days -- we discuss.
Dr. B and Burg talk about applying the CMG. Burg shares her story about why she didn't do this years ago and why she's doing it now. They talk about eating bread in Paris as well as the benefits of tracking your glucose with a CGM.
